ASNIP

In ~1997, there was a group of public domain x86 assembly language source files called Assembly Snippets, or ASNIP, that was passed around various BBS download lists; it was collected by a fellow teen programmer named Tenie Remmel. I remember reading through them and leveling up my assembly language skills. I've kept a copy for the past 30 years (and it is still available in various places, though I think somewhat forgotten).

But, they aren't quite as useful as-is, so I had Claude forge them into a web archive, complete with a live assembler and embedded DOSBox so that they can be enjoyed in their original form.

Take a look! If you were around then, this might conjure up some memories.

Here is one of my favorites, a 3D landscape generator: https://swenson.github.io/asnip40/#etc-rotscape-rotscape-asm.
