About me:
I'm a computer scientist who is passionate about programming, software engineering, mathematics, writing, and open source.
I hold a Ph.D in computer science from The University of Tulsa, where I also earned an MS in computer science, and a BSCS in computer science and mathematics.
I've been an active developer for over a decade, and have been employed, notably, by the U.S. Government, Google, Simple, Seed, Capital One, Twilio, HashiCorp, and worked as a freelance consultant. I've been, at different times, a vulnerability analyst, security engineer, computer scientist, and software engineer.
I wrote a book a few years ago: Modern Cryptanalysis: Techniques for Advanced Code Breaking.
In addition, I have also contributed chapters to several other books:
- Advances in Digital Forensics: IFIP International Conference on Digital Forensics, National Center for Forensic Science, Orlando, Florida, February 13-16, 2005
- Advances in Digital Forensics II (IFIP Advances in Information and Communication Technology) (v. 2)
- Advances in Digital Forensics III (IFIP International Federation for Information Processing) (IFIP Advances in Information and Communication Technology)
- Handbook of Information and Communication Security
